Well done to those who have already submitted “le jour que je préfère” article. I have seen some well written and amusing pieces. Mme Carruthers
Write an article about your favourite day “Le jour que je préfère”. Write it on a piece of paper and use photos or pictures too if you wish. Best ones will be displayed in the classroom.
To help you, look at the article we read on page 16 today. Your article should be at least 10 sentences long.
Use the present tense.Mme Carruthers
Learn the words in the orange box p 14 “Pour decrire quelqu’un dans la famille”. For a test.

Read the “Point-Info” box on page 13 and make sure you understand how to make phone calls to and from France, so that you can explain in class on Monday. If necessary look up words in the back of the book – e.g. “l’indicatif”.
Mme Carruthers
Write a letter to Roselyne in your exercise books, using the writing frame provided. Provide your own details – e.g your brothers and sisters, names ages etc. Remember that the more details you provide the better your level is likely to be.
Don’t forget to set it out in letter format.
Mme Carruthers
For one of your homeworks last week I asked you to find out about a famous French or French speaking person. We had some interesting and well researched pieces including one about Jacques Chirac, the former French president; Daft Punk, the band; Gérard Depardieu, the actor; and various footballers including Thierry Henri, Patrick Viera and David Trezeguet.
Well done, 10FR1!
